I studied IES because I wanted to establish a strong preparation for The University of Queensland. The highlight of the program was meeting people from different nationalities. I also enjoyed studying Business Management and learning new business terms.

MOOEC allows Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to connect with students outside regular channels and from a wider range of backgrounds. The platform is not only helpful in teaching students basic English skills, but also teaching soft skills needed for university such as time management, how to ask questions and working within a group. MOOEC means that our lessons can benefit both students intending on studying at QUT as well as learners who may not have the means for overseas study, including refugees and learners from impoverished areas.
It's rewarding to be part of the world's first massive English training program and to have our lessons reach learners outside of what we were expecting. Exposure to a wide audience of learners through the MOOEC platform has helped QUT further establish the university as a global, community leader.

Taking the EATC course has really been an eye opener for me, it broadened my knowledge and provided me that technical know-how to help my students facilitate admissions into their preferred courses and institutions. It help me to become more professional in the process of providing my services, by letting me understand what is ethical and unethical in students recruitment processes.
The knowledge I acquired from the course is now making my job even easier, now I know the right person to contact at the right time in any institution I am dealing with. Being a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor has provided me with that symbol of professionalism and to be right agent in the eyes of institution providers, colleagues and prospective students. It really worth investing my time and resources on this course!
