The Cultural Competence Program improves cultural competence in the Australian workforce by delivering large scale, cost effective training across a mobile platform. The program is a collaboration between IES, SBS and Multicultural NSW.
The program is designed to enhance social cohesion in Australia and improve outcomes for organisations operating in an increasingly culturally diverse society. It features a new curriculum, state-of-the-art online courses and will develop a future community of trainers with the aim to deliver face-to-face and online training to over 500,000 Australian workers by 2020.

Are you ready to unlock your organisation's cultural potential?
The Cultural Atlas is a free online resource that provides comprehensive information about Australia’s migrant populations as well as the world’s diverse cultures. The atlas educates in cross-cultural attitudes, practices, communication and business skills. This resource has compiled widespread observations of cultural behaviour to one place, accompanied by up-to-date research and statistics.
All materials are supported by widespread consensus in observational research and consultation with members of Australia’s multicultural community. The broad country specific information is also supplemented by real migrants’ stories of the cultural differences they’ve encountered in Australia. Their personal experiences provide depth and understanding at a more individual level.
Some say the Cultural Atlas is the ‘Wikipedia of cultural awareness’.
You can either contribute to its development or use it as a cultural resource for your organisation. Explore the Cultural Atlas today.

The Study Australia App mobile services offer Australian registered education providers and clusters information for international students. Enterprise licenses for the app are now available to Australian education providers and education clusters.
Because the Study Australia app is a pre-built system, all client design, production, project management, hosting and maintenance fees are included in the annual enterprise license price.
Your own branded app deployed to app stores, available for free download by students. You are at liberty to write module content changes during the course of your annual license in order to maintain fresh and relevant content. Push notifications to students are enabled under this annual license. (For example, watch the IES app video below)
Your cluster or institution has branded content published within the existing Study Australia app which is now available for free download by students. The app shell currently contains generic information about Australia and ‘soft content’ that encourages students to want more. Annual licenses are available to education clusters and education institutions in Australia and in-app notifications are enabled with this license option.
